CONCERT: ITALY AND SOUTH AFRICA MEET IN PRETORIA
On 24 February 2020 at the Nazareth House, Chapel in Pretoria we had a fantastic collaborative sold out concert with our choral friends all the way from South Tyrol, Italy: Brummnet der Männerchor under the direction of Johann Van Der Sandt and Clara Sattler. What a fantastic event!

NALEDI - AN AFRICAN JOURNEY

Naledi – An African Journey is a breathtaking tale of courage, adventure, and magic, inspired by traditional South African storytelling. The work incorporates thrilling multimedia, a dazzling flourish of costumes and light with Franco Prinsloo's awe-inspiring choral music. We follow the journey of Naledi, the morning star, in her quest to find the great baobab tree that is guarding an ancient secret of light and truth. Through collaboration, composer Franco Prinsloo generated an accessible multilingual musical work that examines collective themes such as truth and forgiveness.

An ensemble of exceptional musicians accompanied the UP Youth Choir and Vox Chamber Choir including Magdalena de Vries - Percussionist & Marimba Specialist, Francois Lessing, Faye Prinsloo,
Neville Nhlanhla Radebe and Calayde Davey. Audiences were enchanted by the movement artists: Brandon Thespian Olifant (TBO), Abe Pupunyane and Thato Paul Menoe and
beautiful animations created by Louis Minnaar.

The work was performed on 16 & 17 March 2019 in the Aula Theatre, University of Pretoria, South Africa

Nazareth House Chapel, Pretoria
The Vox Chamber Choir performed an hour-long intimate concert, celebrating each Voxie on the 14th of November 2019 in the beautiful Nazareth House chapel in Pretoria. For us, each member's voice is unique and beautiful, and we celebrated this by sharing our voices with our audience. We performed a special programme that featured all the work in our latest album.

Every Mothers Day, Vox Chamber Choir proudly hosts a Chamber Choir Festival where we invite choirs to perform. This is a fantastic event with barista trucks, wine tables and flowers stand to treat the Mothers to a wonderful afternoon of choral music.
