A: Teacher, Dental Practice Manager, Caregiver, Jack of all trades.

Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?

A: Since forever...Since I can remember......!!!

Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?

A: I must say, the 2019 Vox European Tour - singing in those ancient Cathedrals and on the most memorable stages. What an incredible feeling!❤️

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?

A: Touching hearts with amazing music and also being part of this unique Vox tribe.

Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: An unfair question, as I really can't pick one...however, "Dink aan my" - a movement in our conductor, Franco Prinsloo's newly composed oratorio: "Kruis van Liefde", oh and most definitely: "Mag die bome groen bly" - Franco Prinsloo.

Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: Hopefully being able to tour Europe in 2022....and also being on stage again with the Voxies!!! There is no feeling like it in the world.

Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

A: Healing heartache in people. It would heal the world!!!

Q: What are you reading/binge watching at the moment:

1. Reading - Keeping love alive as memories fade - Gary Chapman;

2. Watching - My precious kids grow into amazing adults. I don't waste time on television, I'd rather do something creative.

Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?

A: Crafting, calligraphy, sewing.

Q: Name a section in a piece we perform that gives you goosebumps every time:

A: "Dink aan my" in "Kruis van Liefde" - Franco Prinsloo. The part where Jesus speaks, the harmony is just beyond this world.

The full Oratorio, "Kruis van liefde" will be broadcasted on RSG (Radio Sonder Grense) on 02 April 2021. Be sure to tune in to experience this special Easter Oratorio, composed by Franco Prinsloo. The commission was made possible by the generous grant from the "Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir Wetenskap en Kuns".

Q: List 3 things on your bucket list?

1. Going on a road trip to the Nam (Namibia) with my Hubby;

2. Cruising on a boat with my whole family;

3. I've ticked the 3rd one during our last European tour - Singing in Ancient cathedrals.
