Q: What is your day job?
A: Dentist.
Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?
A: 11 years.
Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?
A: I loved performing "Lotus" by our conductor, Franco Prinsloo and filming our music video for "Somerkersfees".
Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?
A: I love that we can share our passion for music with each other and our audiences. Singing is a deeper way to communicate. You can feel God's almighty power as we sing together.
Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?
A: "Mag die bome groen bly" - composed by Franco Prinsloo and Netanja Brink. Franco composed the choral arrangement specially for the Vox Chamber Choir.
Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?
A: Learning each new piece of music.
Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
A: Teleportation/ Apparition ~ magical form of transportation in which you travel instantly from one location to another.
Q: What are you reading/binge watching at the moment:
1. Reading - Die vrou met die blou mantel - Deon Meyer;
2. Watching - Travelers.
Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?
A: Reading and creating special memories with family and friends.
Q: Name a part in a piece we perform that gives you goosebumps every time:
A: "Dink aan my" one of the movements from our conductor, Franco Prinsloo's new Easter Oratorio called: "Kruis van Liefde".
("Kruis van Liefde" will be premiered on National South African Radio - "Radio Sonder Grense": RSG, on 02 April 2021. Keep an eye out on our page for more information, it is going to be absolutely mind blowing).
Q: List 3 things on your bucket list:
1. I want to go to Greece for a holiday!!!
2. I want to swim with dolphins and stingrays;
3. I would love to go skiing.
