Q: What is your day job?

A: Architect.


Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?

A: 8 years.



Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?

A: The filming of our "Somerkersfees" music video at our Vox Year End Function last year. The intensity of shared emotion was completely overwhelming. To look someone straight in the eye and sing your heart out together is soul-baring.



Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?

A: The camaraderie that comes from sharing music.


Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: "Lotus" by our conductor, Franco Prinsloo.


Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: Performing "Kruis van Liefde" – it is going to be spectacular!


Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

A: To heal disease.


Q: What are you reading/binge watching at the moment:

1. Reading – Risen Motherhood;

2. Watching – The Office.


Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?

A: Cooking and sewing. Also, I will be starting my training as birth doula this year! #excited



Q: Name a part in a piece we perform that gives you goosebumps every time:

A: From "Kruis van Liefde", where the Tenors sing: “Eloi Eloi, lama sabachthani”. #goosebumps_all_the_way


Q: List 3 things on your bucket list?

1. Take a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia;

2. Travel South America in a camper van with my family for a few months;

3. Write a novel.
