Q: What is your day job?

A: Medical doctor for small humans - Pediatrics at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesburg.



Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?

A: School choirs, varsity serenades and 1 year of Vox.


Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?

A: Singing “Somerkersfees” and “On that Holy Night” by our conductor, Franco Prinsloo in the "Palace of Justice", Central Pretoria. Just WOW!



Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?

A: Sharing music with special people.


Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: "Somerkersfees" - Franco Prinsloo.


Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: Performing “Kruis van liefde” - Franco Prinsloo​. It is going to be spectacular!

Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

A: Fly!



Q: What are you reading/binge watching at the moment:

1. Reading - Pediatric Essentials;

2. Watching - The Queens Gambit.


Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?

A: Cycling.


Q: Name a part in a piece we perform that gives you goosebumps every time:

A: In "On that Holy Night" - Franco Prinsloo, when we transpose with the words: “Mary held Him tight” - the lush harmony between all the voice groups sends shivers down your spine.



Q: List 3 things on your bucket list?

1. Learn an African language;

2. Gorilla tracking in Rwanda;

3. Visit the Vic Falls.
