Meet our Terrific Tenor: Wouter van Wyk #Vox_Tribe

Q: What is your day job?

A: 'n Dominee.

Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?

A: Since the beginning of creation. So for about 28 years.

Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?

A: The "Kruis van Liefde" rehearsals. All of it. Every moment!

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?

A: Having something to look forward to on every Thursday.

Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: I haven't been part of a performance yet, but I strongly expect it's going to be performing/recording "Kruis van Liefde" composed by our conductor Franco Prinsloo.

Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: Many moments of creating art on stage.

Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

A: Time travel.

Q: What are you reading/binge watching at the moment:

1. Reading - Any form of fiction. Currently Clive Cussler;

2. Watching - Any history documentary.

Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?

A: Cycling and Jazz piano.

Q: Name a section in a piece we perform that gives you goosebumps every time:

A: The last 60 minutes of "Kruis van Liefde".😋

Q: List 3 things on your bucket list:

1. Attend a Broadway Musical;

2. Road trip in America for 3 months;

3. Figuring out how to make my wife enjoy jazz.
