We are super excited for our Vox Spring Concert | Vox Lentekonsert on Sunday, 03 September at 15:00 in the magnificent acoustics of the Heldesaal of Voortrekkermonument in Pretoria.🪻

Chris Vale is one of our Talented Tenors, and this is what he has to say about this spectacular upcoming concert:

"One of the highlights of any Vox season is the annual Spring Concert. Not only is it the first time we get to showcase the amazing repertoire composed by our conductor, Franco Prinsloo, but we also have the opportunity to welcome all the new Voxies!

My favourite work this season has to be Nunc Dimittis. It's an extremely challenging sacred work with musical references to the Eastern Orthodox musical tradition. For a pro choir, this work provides satisfaction on every level.

The spring concert is the perfect way to experience the acoustics of the Voortrekkermonument, because the cathedral-like acoustics truly emphasize the beauty and harmonic intricacy of choral music."
