We are super excited for our Vox Spring Concert | Vox Lentekonsert on Sunday, 03 September at 15:00 in the magnificent acoustics of the Heldesaal of Voortrekkermonument in Pretoria.🌸

Liesemari Dewet is one of our Awe-inspiring Altos, and this is what she has to say about this spectacular upcoming concert:

"As a very proud member of the Vox Chamber Choir the past few years, the annual Vox Spring Concert is definitely highlighted on my list of favourite concerts yearly. The Voortrekkermonument serves as a creative space in which Franco's music can come alive and where our voices are challenged in numerous ways to transcend the sound, up and over the rooftop of the monument!

Singing pieces such as "Deurgrond" (inspired by Psalm 139 and poetry written by Totius - which we will be performing on Sunday) gives me the opprtunity to engage and connect with text and music that I would not ever have had the opportunity of doing if it was not for the wonderful Vox Chamber Choir. This is my unconventional church, my safe space and my weekly dose of poetry meeting music. What a humbling experience and opportunity to sing and make music under the talented hand of my wonderful friend and Maestro, Franco.
