THE VOX SPRING TEAM ~ Soané Ackerman (A2)

We are super excited for our Vox Spring Concert | Vox Lentekonsert on Sunday, 03 September at 15:00 in the magnificent acoustics of the Heldesaal of Voortrekkermonument in Pretoria.💐

Soané Ackerman is one of our Awe-inspiring Altos, and this is what she has to say about this spectacular upcoming concert:

"The minute I set foot in this choir, I felt HOME. There is no other group like this - where being yourself unapologetically is not only accepted, it is celebrated! From sharing passions (and obsessions) to weird nicknames, traditions and funny sayings, this choir is so much more than just music. We breathe together, we make music together and we change hearts together.

The first #Prinsloo I sang was a production for Aardklop in 2018 called: "Canticum Canticorum", and it changed my life forever. Where others would listen to or watch series for an hour, I would listen to a recording of this work - a literal 53:48 minute recording! And here I am now, a 'Lalt' (2nd Alto), part of the "Heilige Hildegard Harmonistse" (my Voxtet / Voxhouse) in the most amazing professional choir!

It is such an inexplicable honour for me to now be singing for Franco in my first #VoxConcert in the 3rd of September - and in the incredible acoustics of the Voortrekkermonument, no less!
