Q: What is your day job?

A: I am an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, specialising in Labour Law and I am part of the most amazing Legal team at my beloved King Price Insurance. #let_us_send_u_quote😎

Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?

A: 9 blessed years.

Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?

A: Our "Vuurbees | Firebeast" concert in the basement parking of King Price Insurance. What an experience. We performed various phenomenal works that Franco composed. The vibe was just extraordinary. There were art installations and projections of visual artists, installation art and sound installation. Singing LIVE with a sound installation of the earth's magnetic field, created by the Terrella application, was a surreal experience. It was truly something out of this world. We made a statement that day that we as human beings must do all in our power to protect the earth and fight climate change.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?

A: The satisfaction of producing world-class music with extremely talented choral artists, as well as having a safe space with people form all walks of life.

A: "Kom vannag in my drome" by our conductor, Franco Prinsloo. Here is the link, listen to it, you will understand.

Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: Our Requiem programme, which is set for the end of the year. It will be performence of note. Contemporary balet combined with beautiful costumes and all Franco's big "sacra" works, performed in an exciting unconventional space. It is going to magical. #watch_this_space

A: The 17th movement, "XVII. Resitatief: Op die Negende uur". The men enters with the words of Jesus on the cross: "Eloi, Eloi, Lama Sabachthani!" The music really builds to an enormous climax here. Goosebumps every! Watch it here:
