A: Vox is my first choir experience and what a gift! But I've been singing for the most part of my life.

Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?

A: Performing for our friends and family in an intimate concert end of last year. My parents drove 360 km to see us perform. Yip, they are the best! ❤️

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?

A: Experiencing the magic of music with people who appreciate and love it as much as I do.

Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: "Somerkersfees" - Franco Prinsloo. I'm not crying, you're crying. I lied, I'm crying.

Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?

A: Being able to perform in front of a large audience, post Covidia-Anne...

Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

A: To breathe under water.

Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?

A: Swimming and reading.

Q: Name a part in a section we perform that gives you goosebumps every time:

A: The section in our conductor, Franco Prinsloo's composition: "Lotus", where the whole choir sings: "Die bietjies wat ek jou wou gee, ook dit neem jy nou weg" at the end of the composition, repeating it numerously, creating a musical mantra. Pure magic!

Q: List 3 things on your bucket list:

1. Learn to Ice-skate...well, because falling is not lekker;

2. Collect all CS Lewis books;

3. Hike Machu Pichu.
