Q: What is your day job?
A: I am the Product Manager and Marketing Coordinator at Afrivet - an animal health company.
Q: How many years have you been singing in a choir?
A: 24 glorious years.🥂
Q: What has been your most memorable experience with Vox to date?
A: Every Thursday has its own experience that makes you realise that making music in a group of people you love can fulfil your life in so many ways. However, performing the world premiere of Franco's Christmas Oratorio called, "Lig van Waarheid" in the Grootte Kerk, Kaapstad with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra was an experience I will never forget. #bliss
Q: What do you enjoy the most about being part of Vox?
A: Making music that everyone is passionate about and sharing a love for music together as a Vox family.🎼
Q: Which piece is your favourite that you have performed with Vox Chamber Choir?
A: This is a difficult one, but if I must singel out one I would say the "Missa Brevis 'San Marco'" by our conductor, Franco Prinsloo. It was one of the first works I performed with Vox. A truly blessed memory. You can listen to it here!
Q: What do you look forward to the most with Vox Chamber Choir?
A: Signing for many more years with my Vox Tribe.❤️
Q: In which Vox-Tet (our octets) are you?
A: The Fanny Mendelssohn Memorial Singers (Team Yellow)💛. What a crazy and fun bunch together. Love you all!
Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
A: To rid the world of pain and uncertainty.
Q: What are you reading/binge watching at the moment:
1. Reading - Lessons in Chemistry;
2. Watching - You, Big Bang Theory (for the 10th time) and MasterChef (we are cooking up a storm currently at home each night).🍽️
Q: Name another hobby/interest you participate in?
A: Cooking, painting and taking a chance on gardening.
Q: Name a section in "Kruis van Liefde" that gives you goosebumps every time:
A: "XXIV: Vader, My Gees Gee Ek in U Hande Oor", going into "XXV: Paasbelydenis". The transition into the Finale is just sublime. You will get goosebumps everywhere! Have you bought your tickets yet for 15 March???

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
A: Tromsø, Norway. Based in the heart of the aurora zone in the Norwegian Arctic. The city is widely regarded as one of the world's best places to see the Northern Lights. A must see bucket list of mine!
