Francois Pelser is one of our Brilliant Baritones, and this is what he has to say about this spectacular upcoming concert:
"You know that feeling you get? The one where you experience absolute bliss at something so pure and breathtaking that you can't help but smile? That's what you will experience whenever you hear Vox Chamber Choir at one of the concerts in the #Vox_Concert_Series.
It's also the feeling I experienced when I first sang one of Franco's works back in 2015 in Potchefstroom. That same feeling is ever-present within his music, regardless of the piece or even the voice group. As a baritone, it really is delightful to sing a Franco Prinsloo work and this is especially prevalent in my favorite piece that we will sing at the #Spring_Concert, Deurgrond. To me, it's such an honest exploration of a South African's soul.
To make music like this within such a professional environment and with people that truly become family is an honour and a privilege that I will cherish for the rest of my life. To do so in the astonishing acoustics of the Voortrekkermonument? That's how you make memories.
