Riëtte Schönfeldt is one of our Awe-inspiring Altos, and this is what she has to say about this spectacular upcoming concert:
"Being part of a choir, especially such an awe-inspiring one as the Vox Chamber Choir, is something that is near impossible to describe if you have never experienced it first hand. There is such a feeling of support and connection to yourself, the other people around you and the whole world. For that moment on stage or in rehearsal, you are part of something bigger than yourself. It is a space to share your passion for music and beauty with like-minded individuals.
My favourite part of singing in a choir is that moment of complete silence just before we begin singing, where we all collectively take a breath with the sole intention of making something beautiful and inspiring as a group together. Having the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing choir like Vox, under the leadership of Franco Prinsloo, is truly an honour.
